Book states that Nelle was a young widow with one daughter, Margaret, by her first husband,William Green or Greer, who died about 1781. Their daughter married in 1800 Cumberland County, Kentucky to William Bartleson. She died some years before her and James daughter, Nellie married married Wiliam Wood.
